鵝（彩墨）
我小的時候看見鄰居在河坡上「放鵝」，就知道鵝很喜歡吃青草，如果誰家的院子需要除草，放兩三隻鵝下去，三兩下就清潔溜溜了。
聽說鵝也是警覺性很高的動物，看見生人就「嘎嘎」的叫個不停。如果是公鵝，還會追逐啄咬陌生人呢。
鵝也好「表現」，有一次我和邱傑（桃園縣聯合報特派記者）一群人去關西遊玩，在高處欣賞一池小埤塘裡的鵝群。當邱特派拿起相機要拍牠們時，鵝群發現我們了，猛然地，牠們全部都像發瘋似的嘎嘎大叫，興奮地開始追逐，張開翅膀，互相撲水，叫聲連連，在池水中高速的來回奔馳，就像表演給觀眾看似的。驚得我們岸上的這批人是張口睜眼，訝異的說不出話來──太精采了。
Geese/ink and color painting
When I was a child, I saw our neighbors raising geese by the bank of the river. Since the geese like to eat fresh grass very much, if anyone needed the grass and weeds cleared from their yard, they could have two or three geese taken there, and the yard would be clear of vegetation in the blink of an eye.
I have heard that geese are very vigilant animals, and they will honk vigorously if they see a stranger. The ganders will even pursue and peck at strangers.
Geese also like to show off. One time I was out with Chiu Chieh (a reporter from the Taoyuan County office of the United Daily News) and some others on an excursion to Guanxi. At that time, we happened to be on a small hill, watching a flock of geese in a pond below us. Chiu pulled out his camera and got ready to take a photograph of the geese. When the geese discovered us, they suddenly began honking wildly, excitedly chasing each other, spreading their wings, and splashing each other. They rushed about on the pond as if performing for an audience. We gaped in amazement, left speechless by the incredible show.＠
