【大紀元2016年07月19日訊】（大紀元記者吳英編譯報導）老外到中餐館，點餐時如果有圖文並茂的菜單，可能會鬆一口氣，但有時看英譯的菜名，可能還是會丈二和尚摸不著頭腦，搞不清楚到底是什麼。
英國《每日電郵》（Daily Mail）7月18日報導，整理中餐館奇葩的英譯菜名，並提供正確的英譯。
1. 隨便-綜合果汁：whatever
令人捧腹的英譯，它指的是assorted fruit juice。

2.燒香草銀鱈魚： God with Vanilla
真怪異，這個菜單應該是cod cooked with vanilla，但卻成為另外一回事。
3.白油爆雞樅：stir-fried wikipedia
不知道這個菜與維基百科（wikipedia）有何關係，它其實是雞炒磨菇，chicken stir-fried termite mushrooms。
4.湖南泡菜系列：Dishes with Human Pickles
啊，這應該是筆誤吧，將Hunan，寫成Human了。
5.農家小炒肉： The peasant family stir-fried flesh for a short time
不知何故，炒豬肉變成炒肌肉，較正確的英譯是rural stir fried pork。
6.乾爆鴨子：F*** with duck until exploded
在大陸，乾的簡體字「干」，因此翻譯字典常譯成一個英文不雅字F***。這個菜名的正確英譯是Deep fried duck。
7.日式烤鰻魚：Rorsted Eel Japanese Style
又是筆誤，應該是Roasted
8.牛仔肚：Cowboy Leg
無言了！
9.自製乾腸：The self-restraint dose the intestines (建議英譯Home-made sausages)
10.五谷雜糧： Grain miscellaneous grains (建議英譯Assorted grains)
11.撈汁黑拉皮 Fishes the juice to pull the skin black (建議英譯Black rice noodles in sauce)
12.生拆肉蟹豆腐 ：Health Demolition tofu recipe
這個英譯會讓人以為豆腐會有害健康。正確的英譯是Hand-pulled crab meat cooked with tofu。
13.川水潑辣雞：Chicken rude and unreasonable
粗暴且不理性的雞，大概沒人敢吃吧。比較好的譯法是Sichuan style spicy chicken。
14.滋味掌手寶 ：Taste handheld devices
中文菜名，看不懂，英文讓人更難懂，到底是什麼菜啊？原來是美味的雞爪：flavourful chicken feet cartilage。
15.鍋仔沙爹灼美國肥牛：Fatty cow in the United States in dad in sand
一名爸爸在沙中與肥牛在一起？怎麼吃？
更正確的譯文是U.S-imported beef slices served in a clay pot with satay sauce。
