節奏（彩墨）
我常覺得繪畫、詩歌、音樂和文學其實是分不開的，都有其共通性——節奏感。
讓人朗朗上口的文章或詩詞，往往都具有音樂的節奏和律動感。而一幅好的繪畫作品更能讓人感受到畫裡涵育的音樂性。所以擅於繪畫的人一定擅於唱歌，擅於寫作，擅於彈琴，甚或也擅於下棋，因為這些技藝都有其共通性——節奏感。
平日我雅愛唱唱歌，旅行時，在遊覽車上唱卡拉OK，往往搶麥克風不放。有時和好友呂漢欽先生合唱，他唱主調，我唱和聲，偶爾採「隨機輪唱」或哼三、五度的口哨聲來相配，這種唱法往往能搏得全車人熱烈的掌聲與共鳴。
Rhythm/ink and color painting
Usually, I believe painting, poetry, music and literature, in fact, are inseparable because they all have one thing in common – rhythm.
The catchy articles or poems usually are with music tempo and rhythm. And a good painting makes people feel the music rhythm inside. So, people who are good at painting, must be good at singing, must be good at writing, must be good at playing the piano or even must be good at playing chess because all these skills have the same commonality – rhythm.
I like singing, when traveling, I sing karaoke on the tour bus and grab the microphone all the time. Sometimes with my friend Mr. Lu Han-qin, we sing together, he sing the melody and I sing chorus. Occasionally we take “random singing” or we are humming three or five degrees sound match up each other, which always leads enthusiastic applauses and resonance giving to us from all people in the car.＠
