楊梅茶園（彩墨）
一九九八年冬天，邀同事經龍潭到楊梅，沿路邊玩邊寫生。途經楊梅鎮附近的某一個小村落，不期然看到對面那座小丘陵上有整齊排列的茶園以及山後的一批高樓大廈，櫛比而立，恍如海市蜃樓，美得令人驚羨。（當時的寫生稿放在《徐明義畫集四》P.74頁，可與此圖相參。）
如今再回到該地重遊，山腳下的農家已杳然不知去處，改建成一批新建築，而山頂上的樓層卻越疊越高，不知是該高興呢，還是該悲傷呢。
Yangmei tea garden/ink and color painting
In the winter of 1998, I invited my colleagues go sketching along the way from Long tan to Yangmei. Through a small village near the town of Yangmei, I noticed that the neat and tidy array tea gardens on the small hill and number of tall buildings in behind, it looked the Mirage alike, the beautiful scene was amazing. (At that time, the sketches were placed in “Xu Ming yi’s Paintings IV”, p. 74, please refer)
Now, I visited it again, the farm-houses at the foot of mountain have gone somewhere and replaced by new buildings and the floors of building on the top of mountain were higher than and higher, suddenly I do not know I am happy or sad.@
