August 23, 2003 was coming soon.
I was put in a discarded infirmary, where dirty medical instruments and beds were piled up.
It was the fifth cell I had been put in at Sanshui.
A guard, who usually swore at me a lot, said, “Yiwen Tang! You can even stand a place like this! You are really steadfast!”
The Sanshui chief said to me, “When your three years of forced labor is done by August 23, we definitely won’t keep such a stubborn person like you in here.”
The chief of the Guangzhou Labor Camp Bureau and some high-ranking 610 came saying to me, “If you still don’t renounce Falun Gong, what await you ahead are Study Class and prison! In one word, you can never go home if you don’t renounce Falun Gong!”
I also heard the guards chatting about the newly-constructed “Falun Gong Base” for imprisoning Dafa practitioners. A guard said to me sneeringly, “Wish you wouldn’t be sent there on August 23.”
And the Education Division chief asked me mockingly, “Where do you think you will go when August 23 comes?”
I sent forth a mighty, righteous thought in my heart —
“When August 23 comes, I will go home!!”
