【大纪元2015年03月13日讯】（大纪元记者夏君编译报导）在《新闻周刊 》(Newsweek)新出炉的全美2,000所最佳高中(nation’s best high schools)名单中，橙县有33所高中入围，全加州有超过250所学校入围。
橙县入围的33所学校中，柏树市的牛津书院(Oxford Academy in Cypress)名列前茅。在更全面的《注册》(Register)杂志评比中，该校多年来一直排第一。《新闻周刊 》此次将其评为全美第34名，西部第8名。
在橙县33所学校中排第二的是富乐屯的特洛伊高中(Troy High School in Fullerton)。《新闻周刊 》将其评为全美第47名，西部第9名。该校在今年《注册》排名中名列第二。
在橙县排第三的尔湾大学高中(University High School in Irvine)为西部的第23名，全美的第102名。
在橙县33所学校中尔湾占得最多，共有五所学校，包括诺斯伍德联合高中(Unified’s Northwood High School)、伍德布里奇高中(Woodbridg High School)和塔斯廷的阿诺德贝克曼高中(Tustin’s Arnold O. Beckman High School)。
《新闻周刊 》的评比标准是基于高中毕业率、大学录取率、 标准考试分数以及先进课程如AP报考人数和分数等进行评选的。
