Singing in prairie ink and color painting
I read Mr. Qian’s book in which he pointed out that he is good at “monochrome” and also said “landscape paintings are more complex, so color giving should be simple.”
This “singing in prairie” painting is purely using green color. When in gradation treatment processing, the moment of splashing color and ink often gives great pleasure and satisfaction.
To draw paintings, as a matter of fact, no ambition is required. Such a goal like “transform social traditions make something difference” or to give benefit to “the national welfare and the people’s livelihood” is too far and too big for those mediocre people like us to achieve.
It is good paint happily and happy painting.@
