【大紀元2019年03月04日訊】(記者王蘭編譯報導)加拿大有許多方面世界聞名,尤其是多元文化這個基本國策。每年加拿大最佳容納多元化雇主排名就是認可該國在創建包容性工作場所方面的領導者。
據Dailyhive 報導,該排名考察公司是否僱員多元文化背景的員工,其中考量因素包括公司職員中女性、少數族裔、殘障人士和原住民比例。
「2019年加拿大最佳多元化雇主明白,要實現真正多元化的勞動力,需要的不僅僅是善意。還有從自上而下開始制定多元化的戰略計劃,將崇高的言辭付諸實際行動。」加拿大最佳雇主組織在一份聲明中表示。
今年一些突出的例子包括宏利金融(Manulife),該公司最近將多元化和包容性問責制納入其領導人員的績效目標。另一個例子是美國運通加拿大(Amex Canada),該公司推出了一項支持女性員工發展和進步的戰略。目前,婦女占其高級領導層的57%,占其董事會的52%。
