【大紀元2021年01月13日訊】（大紀元記者沈詩昂墨爾本編譯報導）2020年維州高考（VCE）結果顯示，墨爾本西區有5所公立學校的表現超過了維州許多頂級私立學校。
據《太陽先驅報》報導，維州VCE成績總分為50分，一個學校的中位數成績可以反映出該學校12年級學生的高考表現。
在2020年維州VCE考試中，墨爾本西區的Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School學校的兩個校區（位於Brimbank和Moonee Valley轄區）的VCE成績中位數都達到了35分。
Lowther Hall Anglican Grammar School學校的VCE成績中位數也達到了35分；Werribee的Suzanne Cory High School學校和Truganina的Westbourne Grammar School學校的VCE成績中位數均為34分。
這5所學校是墨爾本西區VCE成績最高的學校，其表現超過了維州許多頂級私立學校。
2020年維州VCE成績排名前三位的學校是Hawthorn的Bialik College學校、Burwood 的Mount Scopus Memorial College學校和巴拉瑞特（Ballarat）的Clarendon College學校；在排名前100位的學校中，有18所是公立學校，比2019年（21所）略有下降。
