【大紀元2011年03月31日訊】新西蘭現在正是秋高氣爽的時節，一年一度的熱氣球節也在漢密爾頓繽紛登場了。
3月30日清晨，在市中心靠近漢密爾頓湖的恩尼斯公地（Innes Common），30多個來自新西蘭本地和世界上其它地方的熱氣球升上天空，正式拉開了懷卡托熱氣球節（Balloons over Waikato）的序幕。主辦單位預計熱氣球節期間，樂趣無窮的表演和競賽將吸引逾15萬遊客前來觀賞。
3月30日至4月3日，在為期五天的活動中，小丑、雞蛋、小鳥等滑稽形態的各式新型氣球、廣受歡迎的夜光（Night Glow）觀賞，以及日出時大規模的氣球升天景象，對於任何年齡段的觀眾來說都是一次愉悅和興奮的難忘體驗。
