已经好些日子了
总觉得很奇怪
总有一些声音从窗外传来
断断续续
不分晨昏
不分阴晴
不分日夜
好像是猫叫春的声音
又像是婴儿啼笑的声音
我聚精会神去听
想方设法，力图找出那声音
到底是什么声音
到底是从哪里来的
到底是哪些怪物发出的
今天我终于找到答案了：
当我一早打开窗子
赫然发现
窗前那棵玉兰树的枝头上
有好些芽苗正欢唱着
早春

For quite many days
I feel it strange
To hear some voice from without the window
On and off
Morning or dusk
Cloudy or clear
Day or night
Like caterwaul
And like cries of a baby
I listen with all ears
Try every means, to trace the voice
What kind of voice
From where on earth
Produced by what a strange animal
Today I finally get the answer:
When I open the window in early morning
What greets me
Is on twigs of the Magnolia tree before the window
Many buds are singing merrily the song of
Early spring
