The Taipei International Flora Exposition gets underway Saturday.
台北國際花卉博覽會在週六開始。
It’s the only exhibition hall without any real flowers.
這裡是唯一沒有真花的展覽館。
The pavilion displays the latest technologies in Taiwan, with sound and motion sensors that enable digital flowers to interact with visitors.
這座展館展示台灣最新的科技，運用聲音與動作感應器，讓數位花朵與參觀者互動。
The hall, made to look like a futuristic forest, was decorated with a giant mechanical flower. It moves to music piped through more than 30,000 paper-thin speakers in the shape of leaves.
打造成看起來像一座未來森林的大廳，裝飾著一朵巨大的機械花，會隨著像紙一樣薄、樹葉形狀的喇叭、所傳送出的音樂移動。
Further into the pavilion, 3D flowers bend with the wave of a hand, and florabots dance to music, lighting up when people approach.
再進入展館內部，當人們一接近時，一揮手3D立體花朵就會隨之彎下來，機械花就會隨著音樂跳舞。
[Vivian Hou, Asus]: “Humans and nature should be united as one body. When you observe birds in the sky, they have their v-shaped formations, or when you observe fish swimming in groups, you can see that all nature organisms are interdependent. The florabots are also designed into groups, and they can interact with humans so when they detect visitors they will light up.”
華碩公司的Vivian Hau說：「人類與自然應該結合為一體，當你觀察天空中的鳥兒，牠們有V字的形態，或是當你觀察魚兒成群游泳，你可以看到所有大自然的有機體都是相互依賴的。花械花開也是以群組的方式設計的，它們可與人類互動，所以當它們偵測到訪客時，就會亮起來。」
The expo costs more than $395 million. Its 14 exhibition halls and fields of flowers and plants spread over more than 200 acres. They showcase more than 30 million flowers and the latest green technology.
這項博覽會花費超過3億9千5百萬元，有14個展館與花田，佔地超過200畝，展示超過3千萬朵花與最新的環保科技。
The Taipei City government is expecting 8-million visitors.
台北市政府預期會有800萬名參觀者。
Taipei is the seventh Asian city to host the international gardening event.

The 2010 Flora Expo has more than 30 countries participating, such as the Netherlands, Japan, and Greece. It runs through the end of April.
2010年花卉博覽會有超過30個國家參與，像是荷蘭、日本與希臘。
