【大纪元9月2日讯】在西藏这片苍茫而悠远的土地上，经历了上万年自然的历史变迁，构成了藏民族独特的文化景观。它的莽莽雪峰、雄浑庙宇，它的苍凉的历史和传说，它的瘦瘠的土地和牛羊，无不让人感到好奇和神秘。
西藏历史文化悠久，具有灿烂辉煌的古代文化。自佛教传入后西藏有寺庙2700多座，现存的布达拉宫，大昭寺等弛誉世界，为国内外广大旅游者所瞩目。
西藏喇嘛的寺庙生活，是独具特色的。一踏上西藏的土地，就有一股浓郁的宗教气息扑面而来：随风飘摇的经幡，桑烟袅袅的白塔，经筒轻转的信徒，晨钟暮鼓的寺庙，这些景象在西藏随处可见。
据资料显示，西藏目前大约有270万藏人，绝大多数是农牧民，近95%的藏人居住在农村地区，有中等以上教育程度的人大约只有13%。由于教育经费的缺少，使藏人无法融入西藏的经济发展活动，藏人变得越来越边缘化。西藏人民在西藏成为二等公民。
