酷刑下的声声惨叫伴随着奥运会歌响起
有多少冤魂的尸骨被搅拌筑成奥运场地
又用多少亡灵的骨灰铺垫成奥运的跑道
还有多少人的鲜血灌满了胜利者的奖杯
人们哪，还要沉默多久，才能使良心不受责备？
北京奥运早就夺得了‘伪善’的金牌。在华丽外表的背后蜷伏着一只丑陋的怪兽——专制独裁。它只服务于服从专制的人，而其他的人都会遭到它无情的践踏，为了金钱，它可以把他们宰割、肢解卖到全世界。
当运动员在北京为了打破记录而角逐的时候，人类的尊严却被埋葬。每当一个运动员在自由的空气中冲刺、在自由的水中遨游搏击的时候，就会有一位中国人的躯体在黑暗的劳教所被掏空。
全世界会为此鼓掌，为这场巨大的体育盛典而欢呼，向中国报以甜蜜的青睐。人们自欺欺人的认为，通过体育将会推动中国的人权改善。
然而，一旦北京奥运获得世人的认可，这只怪兽就会更加肆无忌惮、为所欲为的践踏人权。
事实上，当一个运动员在北京奥运上战胜对手赢得奖牌之时，也就是他作人的一次失败。】

How many crushed bones to build a stadium?
How many ashes for the tracks?
How much blood to fill the winners’ cups?
How much silence to ease one’s conscience?
The Beijing Olympic Games has already won the Gold Medal for Hypocrisy. Hiding behind the splendid façade is the hideous monster of totalitarianism. This system only serves those who serve it. The others, it crushes and dismembers, scattering the bits over the planet for money. In Beijing, athletes are going to beat records, but dignity will be buried. For each body propelling itself into the air or into the water, another will be emptied of its substance in the shadow of the camps.
And the world will applaud, will admire China with sugared candy to be offered to it during the great sports ceremony. It will convince itself that, thanks to sport, it has helped humanity to advance in the Middle Kingdom.
In truth, it will have lent support to a system which, strengthened by this global recognition and sure of its impunity, will continue to flout human rights with ever more energy.
Each event won by an athlete at the Beijing Olympic Games will in fact be a defeat for humankind.
