Scores of foreign tourists enjoyed the camel race on New Years Day in the three-day-long camel festival in India’s Northwestern Rajasthan.
在印度西北部的Rajasthan，有許多外國觀光客喜愛在新年之際為期3天的駱駝節，前來觀看當地的駱駝賽跑比賽。
This year’s event marks the 17th edition of the carnival.
今年的盛事是第17屆的嘉年華會。
It was held at the Karni Stadium named after Maharaja Karni Singh, an ace sportsman and champion marksman of the Bikaner royalty.
嘉年華會舉行於Karni體育場，其名字是以一個王牌運動員亦是Bikaner王室的冠軍射手Maharaja Karni Singh所命名的。
Locals including foreign tourists cheered for jockeys as they slugged it out in the race.
當騎師們在比賽中決勝負的時候，當地人包括外國遊客都熱烈的為他們歡呼加油。

“Camel race is very exciting. It is for the first time I have come to India, first time in Bikaner. So exciting for me. People in Bikaner are very nice.”

Organizers of the camel festival are happy to see the increasing number of camels and tourists each year.
