那时候，在乡下
我常常去抓泥鳅
伸手一抓就手到擒来
总是信心满满地
夸说泥鳅很好抓
那时候，乡下有不少烂泥地
稻田里有
水沟里有
小水塘里有
泥鳅就躲在烂泥地里
泥鳅，在烂泥地里钻来钻去
微黄的身子忽隐忽现
似乎在向人们示威：
“来呀！你抓不到我。”
每常引人走入烂泥地里
可是伸手去抓
它一下就溜走了，钻入烂泥里了
唉，泥鳅，滑溜溜
抓的人于是挖呀挖
挖烂泥，企图给挖出来，找出来
挖得整身是泥
挖得整身是汗
还是很难挖得到
即使挖到却抓不住
被它溜掉了
我却是个例外
我的眼睛很亮，手很有劲
常常一挖便挖到，很快就抓到
手紧紧地抓住泥鳅
像已经抓住了理想
可是现在呢？
是岁月把我的眼力抽走了？
是城市里的生活让我没了当年的劲道？
还是泥秋被岁月带走或比以前更滑溜了？
我疑惑不解
我只能和别人一样
看着泥鳅
钻来钻去，忽隐忽现
在过去的时空里
唉，我能奈何呢？
